Senior Principal/Principal Architect

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a project team and provide technical leadership on architectural design matters.
2. Provide guidance to team members to ensure that design solutions are optimised in order to meet clients requirements.
3. Be involved in business development meetings to target specific markets, clients and project opportunities.
4. Carry out architectural designs.
5. Carry out feasibility studies and make design proposal presentations.
6. Liaise with and discuss project-relevant issues with clients.
7. Negotiate with contractors on design requirements and building progress.
8. Oversee progress of on-site work ensure project is built according to design plans and resolve any issues that may arise.
9. Work with engineers and surveyors to make sure that the project meets the necessary standards.
10. Project and/or design management of more than 3 - 4 projects at any given time.
11. Possibly take on the role of PD (Project Director) or PL (Project Lead) and be in charge of or assist in project P&L and resource planning.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent
• At least 6 years of working experience in the related field
• Proficient in Adobe Suite, Rhino, Enscape, Revit
• Experience with Grasshopper or parametric design, hand sketching, and AI software is a plus.
• Demonstrate strong graphic skills with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
