Schneider Electric is seeking a
Senior Principal, Pre-sales Solution Architect to support the growth of its Infrastructure Segment across East Asia. This strategic role focuses on helping customers in utilities, energy, and transportation modernize infrastructure, accelerate electrification, and achieve sustainability goals through integrated software and hardware solutions.
What will you do
- Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end infrastructure solutions across Power & Grid, Airports, Ports, Rail, and Transit sectors.
- Develop scalable, interoperable, and future-ready solution architectures that integrate energy, grid, and digital platforms.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, facilitating executive workshops, translating business needs into technology roadmaps, and supporting strategic pursuits and large-scale opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, R&D, Business Units, Solution Architects, and Lines of Business to align product development and solution strategies with regional market needs.
- Influence Schneider Electric's product and platform direction through thought leadership, market insights, and customer engagement.
- Promote portfolio simplification and cross-business integration to deliver cohesive customer solutions.
- Represent Schneider Electric at industry forums and stay current on trends in grid modernization, electrification, renewable integration, and transportation infrastructure.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in infrastructure, energy, utilities, or transportation solutions.
- Experience with technologies such as digital substations, ADMS/DERMS, microgrids, grid modernization, and smart infrastructure platforms.
- Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders, lead solution workshops, and shape complex technology strategies.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence teams across multiple business units and regions.
- Passion for innovation, sustainability, and advancing the future of electrified and digitized infrastructure.
What qualifications will make you successful
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in electric utilities, grid modernization, smart grid technologies, DER integration, microgrids, and digital transformation.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of power systems, including transmission & distribution, SCADA, ADMS/DMS, DERMS, grid automation, protection systems, and microgrids.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC 61850, CIM, IEEE 1547, and cybersecurity/interoperability frameworks.
- Experience in load forecasting, digital twins, grid modeling, and interconnection strategies.
- Ability to develop customer-centric solution architectures and winning responses to complex RFPs/RFQs.
Leadership And Consulting Skills
- Strong executive communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to translate business challenges into strategic, future-ready solutions.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and supporting large, complex pursuits.

- Willingness to travel across East Asia and internationally as required.
