Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an architectural design team, providing technical direction on design-related matters. Prepare and develop architectural designs while conducting thorough feasibility studies. Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to ensure adherence to required standards and relevant building codes. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously (typically 3-4), ensuring alignment with client requirements and design intent. Liaise with clients on project-related matters, confidently presenting design proposals and negotiating with contractors. Administer construction contracts to ensure compliance and quality throughout the construction process. Monitor on-site progress, addressing any issues as they arise to ensure work execution aligns with project plans. Engage in business development activities to identify potential project opportunities and target markets.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture from a university accredited by the Board of Architects (BOA). Minimum 8 years of experience in design management or in architectural design and planning. Registered Architect with a valid practicing licence. Proven track record of leading teams and managing multiple projects concurrently. Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain effective stakeholder relationships (clients, contractors, consultants). Experience in contract administration and site coordination responsibilities.
