Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage production scheduling to optimize workflow.
- Evaluate and establish process parameters for enhanced product functionality.
- Identify and eliminate sources of failure to enhance product quality and throughput.
- Define and analyze process problems, implement effective solutions to stabilize operations, and increase production output while reducing cycle times.
- Investigate process or material-related issues and implement solutions to resolve them.
- Develop and maintain accurate job methods, work instructions, drawings, and bills of material for products.
- Execute productivity programs, including process automation and tooling improvements.
- Conduct training sessions for equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ensure manufacturing objectives are met and promote continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and technology.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably involving chemical handling.
- Experience in the electroplating sector, with exposure to Silver Spot plating being advantageous.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 is beneficial.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of interpreting AutoCAD engineering drawings.
- Systematic, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate and diagnose issues.
