Job Summary
As a Senior Planning Engineer, you will assist the Planning Manager or Project Manager in all technical and site coordination matters, ensuring that construction works are executed according to design, schedule, and quality standards. You will support project delivery through detailed planning, compliance monitoring, and on-site execution across various disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Planning Manager or Project Manager to resolve on-site technical and engineering challenges and prepare authority submissions to ensure regulatory compliance
- Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials documentation, Method of Statement (MOS), monthly progress claims, and project management reports to support project tracking and stakeholder communication
- Develop and implement detailed sequencing plans for structural work and resource allocation, coordinating micro-schedules with other trades and disciplines aligned with the Master program
- Assist in defining procurement requirements and evaluating subcontractors for structural work to optimize project delivery
- Monitor and track progress of structural, architectural, and M&E works using scheduling tools to ensure adherence to timelines and project milestones
- Supervise site activities to enforce compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and contractual specifications
- Conduct inspections and maintain thorough documentation to verify work quality and compliance with the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) checklist
- Enforce environmental, health, and safety (EHS) practices consistently to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working on Precast, Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC), or Modular Engineering Technology (MET) projects
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and foundational knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
- Completion of Quality Management (QM) project training
- Registration as a Core-trade Foreman or Supervisor
