Our client is in construction industry (Grade A1 Contractor/ Class 1 General Builder) and they provide full suite of integrated construction services and solutions in both the public and private sectors.
JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)
- Be able to assist the Planning Manager in all planning functions
- Monitor progress of work on site on a daily basis
- Prepare histograms, tables, S-curves, resources logs (Manpower, Materials, Equipment)
- Develop construction programmes for medium to large-scale projects
- Maintain and update all schedules, collect actual data (progress, manpower and equipment deployment) and evaluate project delays by effective monitoring of actual progress
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for in-house, owner and consultant submission
- Maintain records for all significant events relevant to contractual claims/obligations
- Liaise, consult and coordinate with all Supervisors and Managers to incorporate relevant information that will affect the implementation of the project schedule
REQUIREMENT
- Possess Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years working experience
- Has aptitude for planning role is key requirement for the position
- Experience in Primavera is desirable
- Adept in Microsoft Project (Primavera P6 version knowledge will be an added advantage)
- Be meticulous, highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills
