We are seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to play a critical role in delivering high‑quality, specialist physiotherapy care within a multidisciplinary team.
Beyond clinical excellence, this role provides opportunities to lead service innovation, mentor others, translate research into practice, and contribute to the future development of physiotherapy services at WH.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Specialist Clinical Care
. Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care for complex cases within area(s) of specialty
. Independently assess, diagnose and manage patients, including walk‑in cases
. Maintain patient safety, clinical quality standards, and accurate documentation
. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement and service development initiatives
Build Capability Through Education
. Supervise, coach and mentor junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants and students
. Support clinical education, in‑services, workshops and patient education programmes
. Contribute to staff capability development and professional learning within the team
Advance Practice Through Research & Innovation
. Translate research and emerging evidence into clinical practice
. Participate in or lead research, innovation or programme evaluation projects
. Present findings at local forums or professional meetings
Lead and Collaborate
. Support day‑to‑day operations, service planning and workload management
. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
. Contribute to service improvement, data analysis and change initiatives
. Deputise for supervisors and provide after‑hours/on‑call coverage when required
What You Bring
. Recognised Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualifying pathways)
. Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
. Strong clinical expertise in a physiotherapy specialty area
. Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and collaboration skills
. Commitment to continuous professional development, research and innovation
. Experience across core rotations (Neurology, MSK/Orthopaedics, Cardiopulmonary, Geriatrics)
