Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive physical, musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory evaluations to accurately identify patient movement dysfunction and clinical needs.
Treatment Planning & Delivery: Formulate and execute evidence-based physiotherapy intervention plans, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and electrotherapy.
Functional & Mobility Rehabilitation: Implement gait retraining, balance exercises, strength conditioning, and physical rehabilitation programs to optimize patient physical function and independence.
Multidisciplinary Care: Collaborate with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical social workers to coordinate patient care and formulate safe discharge strategies.
Patient & Caregiver Education: Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, injury prevention, home exercise routines, and safe patient-handling practices.
Clinical Documentation: Maintain clear, accurate, and timely electronic documentation of assessments, treatment notes, and discharge reports in accordance with legal and professional standards.
Supervision & Mentorship (Senior Role): Supervise, guide, and assess junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and physiotherapy students on clinical placements.
Quality & Clinical Development: Engage in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, research activities, and departmental operations assigned by leadership.
Professional Registration: Active registration as a Physiotherapist with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore, holding a valid Practising Certificate.
Education: Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy from an AHPC-recognized institution.
