The role:
As a Senior Manager at our agency, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing digital marketing strategies for our clients. You will lead a team of talented professionals and work closely with clients to achieve their marketing objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of digital media channels, excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
This is a 5 months maternity cover/contract position.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for key accounts.
- Understand clients business goals and translate them into effective digital media strategies.
- Provide strategic recommendations and insights to clients to optimize their digital marketing efforts.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting the growth and development of team members.
- Set clear objectives, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
Digital Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with clients objectives.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of digital campaigns across various channels, including PPC, Programmatic, social media.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns and provide actionable insights for optimization.
- Prepare and present regular reports to clients, highlighting key performance indicators and recommendations for improvement.
Budget Management:
- Manage digital marketing budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Monitor campaign spend and adjust strategies as needed to stay within budget constraints.
Stay Informed on Industry Trends:
- Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
- Apply industry knowledge to enhance clients digital strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Process/Strategy
- Serve as biddable media platform planning & activation expert (eg Google Ads, DV360, Facebook/IG, TikTok)
- Improve the current workflow & optimization processes
- Work with performance lead to ensure adherence to workflow, timelines & optimization processes
- Serve as hands-on expert to assist junior team members with delivering results for client
- Champion new search tools, settings & technologies across accounts and help activate any existing ones that are not in place
Experience required:
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in a performance media and client servicing role.
- Strong technical understanding of Google Ads, Social, Programmatic planning and implementation.
- Experience with Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) is a plus.
- Strong communicator - possesses excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Be a proactive self-starter and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Team leadership and mentoring experience
- Have strong organizational skills being able to manage multiple clients / projects at once
- Be confident in analysing and acting on marketing data.
