Senior Payments Performance Specialist (Data Analyst) - Global Payments

A leading global payments platform is hiring a Senior Payments Performance Specialist to drive payment success and optimisation initiatives across its cross-border acquiring business.

This role sits within the Payments Optimisation function and focuses on improving card payment performance, increasing transaction success rates, and identifying operational and technical optimisation opportunities across global payment flows. You will work closely with merchants, payment partners, and internal product, risk, and technology teams to diagnose payment issues and implement scalable solutions that improve conversion and reduce transaction failures.

A key part of the role involves close collaboration with card schemes and payment institutions to develop regional payment solutions and improve acquiring performance across markets. You will also contribute to broader product and operational enhancement initiatives by translating data insights into actionable recommendations and new feature proposals.

We're looking for candidates with 6-10 years of experience within payments operations, payment optimisation, acquiring, or data analytics environments. Strong understanding of card schemes, payment processing flows, and payment success metrics is essential. Experience within PSPs, payment providers, card schemes, or merchants will be highly relevant.
