Job Summary
ALPAQ Seafood Processing Pte Ltd seeks a hands-on Senior Operations Supervisor to lead daily seafood processing, packing, warehouse coordination, manpower deployment, cold-room discipline, and delivery preparation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily seafood processing, packing, sorting, storage, and order preparation to meet company standards
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of customer orders
- Coordinate activities among warehouse, cold-room, packing, and delivery teams to maintain smooth operations
- Assign daily tasks to production, warehouse, and operations staff and monitor task completion
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, work attitude, and adherence to company policies
- Enforce compliance with company SOPs, hygiene rules, safety practices, and management instructions
- Inspect seafood product condition, packing quality, hygiene practices, and cold-chain discipline to ensure standards
- Assist with stock movement, order picking, packing, loading preparation, and warehouse housekeeping
- Record and report production issues, staff concerns, wastage, wrong orders, damaged products, and other operational matters
- Prepare daily operation updates and escalate critical issues to management promptly
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in operations, food processing, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, F&B supply, or related industries
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience in seafood, food manufacturing, cold-chain operations, or distribution
- Ability to communicate work instructions clearly in English
- Ability to prepare simple reports, checklists, and operation updates
- Ability to work effectively in a seafood processing and cold-room environment
- Ability to communicate in other languages commonly used by operational staff, advantageous for work coordination
