About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated team player to join our Singapore Team to oversee day-to-day operations of our property portfolios. As Senior Operations Manager, you will play an integral part in shaping the product and service delivery of Weave Living's portfolio in Singapore. This role will be based in our Singapore office.
Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee the pre-opening phase including procuring third-party service contracts, preparing standard operating procedures, and training manuals, providing input for initial budgets and site planning for optimal long-term property performance
- Upon property openings, serve as the decision-maker on daily operational issues raised by residents and third-party vendors
- Planning and controlling operating expenses and improvement/maintenance works
- Communicate with the Community team on all property matters affecting guest service and property operations
- Supervise community team to ensure maximum resident satisfaction by providing personal recognition and prompt cordial attention to guests from arrival to departure
- Maximize social engagement in an effort to further improve on service delivery
- React to any situations to ensure guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition during their stays at the property
- Respond properly in any kind of emergency or safety situations, to residents needs and resolve related problems
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Staff management including recruitment, role and responsibilities assignment, training and motivating on-property teams, driving staff engagement and retention strategy
- Manage operational performance metrics, providing guidance and performance feedback
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management
Requirements:
- Proven work experience in the hospitality (Rooms) or Property Management industry.
- 9+ years experience in managing day-to-day operations of accommodation properties, hotel background will be strongly preferred.
- Responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented and the ability to work independently
- Proven leadership and training abilities, ability to connect well with people; warm and approachable
- Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both residents and team members
- Ability to work cross-functionally with different business units, and efficiently under pressure to manage multiple tasks and prioritise for completion
- Able to manage and resolve conflicts equitably and productively in accordance with company values.
- Able to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related disciplines
- Fluent in English and Chinese, with additional language skills being a plus
