As a Senior Engineer, Operations Excellence (OPEX), you will lead complex, high‑impact improvement initiatives at both local and broader organizational levels, requiring deep insight into business and operational processes. Success in this role relies on a balanced blend of business acumen and industrial expertise, strong communication across technical and non‑technical stakeholders, and the disciplined application of structured problem‑solving and Six Sigma methodologies.
You will serve as a trusted change leader, translating business priorities into sustainable performance improvements while embedding a strong continuous improvement culture across operations.
Our Team
You will be part of the Datacom and Specialty Solutions Division (DSS), partnering closely with Operations, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, Digital Transformation, and Global Operations Excellence teams. You will collaborate with leaders at multiple levels to drive measurable operational and financial impact.
What You Will Do
- Lead complex, cross‑functional Operational Excellence initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, A3, PDCA)
- Drive structured problem solving to eliminate chronic performance gaps and enable proactive, data‑driven decision making
- Align OPEX projects with business strategy, KPIs, and financial outcomes, ensuring benefits are quantified, tracked, and sustained
- Coach and develop Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and Lean practitioners, building internal continuous improvement capability
- Apply advanced analytical techniques and statistical analysis to identify root causes and validate improvements
- Partner with digital transformation teams to support process digitization, automation, and data visualization initiatives
- Ensure adherence to Six Sigma governance, methodology rigor, and company policies across improvement projects
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline
- At least 10 years of relevant business analysis experience within a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated strong analytical capabilities, experience leading teams or initiatives, and a proven ability to solve complex business and operational problems.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing operations, business analysis, or operational excellence roles
- Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional improvement projects in industrial or operational environments
- Strong capability in structured problem‑solving methodologies such as A3, DMAIC, and PDCA
- Solid understanding and application of Lean principles, including flow, pull, waste elimination, and value stream mapping (VSM)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with competence in statistical analysis
- Clear and effective communication skills across both technical and business environments
- Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and influence improvement practitioners across the organization
What Will Put You Ahead
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- 5+ years of dedicated Operational Excellence experience
- Strong proficiency in Minitab for statistical and process analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analytics or reporting tools
- Experience with Power BI or other visualization platforms
- Exposure to digitalization or automation initiatives within manufacturing or supply chain environments
