Were looking for a Senior Operations Engineer in Singapore to keep our mission-critical systems stable, secure, and high-performing. Youll monitor and support production environments, manage incidents, handle deployments, and mentor junior engineers while working closely with hosting partners and customers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system health, manage incidents, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Run daily operations (batch jobs, file transfers, housekeeping, user management).
- Deploy applications, patches, and upgrades in production.
- Produce RCA and SLA reports; improve operational processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and join customer meetings on operational matters.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in IT operations with infra monitoring (PRTG, Nagios, etc.).
- 3+ years scripting (Python, Perl, Bash, ksh).
- Strong experience with public cloud (Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud).
- Hands-on with infrastructure security (PCI-DSS / ISO 27001).
- Knowledge of databases, networking, and application servers (Tomcat, NodeJS).
- Experience with batch job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, IBM TWS).
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Nice to Have: Payments/banking exposure, POS systems, DevOps/CI-CD, containers.
