The candidate will be a member of a multi-site K&S team that develops and sustains semiconductor assembly equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Define test requirements, test coverage and acceptance criteria with electrical engineering team.
- Design and develop automated and manual electrical testing systems for PCBAs, Modules and Assemblies.
- Identify, diagnose electrical failures in machine modules and provide rapid, effective technical support to production teams.
- Develop and qualify manufacturing inspection protocols for manufacturing usage.
- Analyze production yield trends (downtime) and identify parts failure (DPU).
- Support engineering design changes, equipment modifications and upgrades.
- Identify, diagnose electrical failures in machine modules and provide rapid, effective technical support to production teams.
- Ensure and validate all necessary fixtures, jigs, drawings, and work instruction are available for manufacturing processes.
- Training and skillset profiling of assembly technicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or Mechantonics, or related field)
- Typically 5 or more years of related experience.
- Possess strong statistical analysis skillset and problem solving abilities on electrical modules.
- Team player capable of collaborating across various stakeholders and ability to work under pressure during equipment downtime.
- Experience in tester development using Labview / Teststand on bonding processes (Wiring Bonding, Die-Bonding or Thermocompression Bonding or Flip Chip).
- Familiarity with PLC programming (SICK, etc) and Industrial communication protocol (Modbus, Ethernet/IP) will be required.
- Knowledge of Python coding will be advantageous.

- Ability to adjust to shift work as needed during manufacturing volume demand. Typical working hour is 8.30am to 5.30pm.
