Responsibilities
- Oversee operational performance across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity. Manage end-to-end factory relocation, ensuring minimal disruption to production and customer commitments. Develop a comprehensive transition roadmap, including asset transfer and workforce management. Implement lean manufacturing practices to optimize processes and eliminate waste. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with industry standards. Monitor production scheduling and manage resources for maximum efficiency. Develop and manage departmental budgets, controlling expenses while maintaining quality. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a proactive safety culture among teams. Mentor and cultivate the operations management team, fostering professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Precision Engineering Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 12 years experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and production management, with proven leadership and budget management skills. Experience in aerospace manufacturing is advantageous. Proven expertise in managing Profit & Loss, including budgeting and financial performance. Strong background in CNC machining for complex components. Willingness to travel frequently.
