Roles and Responsibilities
1. Operational Performance Analysis &Optimisation
- Analyse end-to-end operational workflows across air freight, sea freight, haulage, and 3PL partners to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and root causes of service deviations.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans in collaboration with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams.
- Track the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend further refinements.
2. Data Integrity & DiagnosticReporting
- Own the accuracy and integrity of operational data within K-WEB and related systems.
- Move beyond standard reporting-diagnose trends, anomalies, and recurring exceptions translate findings into actionable insights for management.
- Design and maintain operational dashboards that provide real-time visibility into shipment volumes, on-time performance, and exception drivers.
3. Process Improvement & SOPEnhancement
- Proactively review existing SOPs against daily operational realities identify gaps, ambiguities, or outdated practices.
- Lead or co-lead SOP revision initiatives, working with frontline teams to document improved workflows.
- Support management in rolling out new processes, including training materials and team briefings.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination &Issue Resolution
- Serve as a liaison between operations and support functions (Customer Service, Finance, Procurement) to resolve recurring operational friction points.
- Escalate systemic issues with recommended solutions-do not escalate without analysis.
5. Stakeholder Communication &Presentation
- Prepare and present monthly operational review decks for management, highlighting key metrics, improvement initiatives, and forward-looking recommendations.
- Articulate complex operational issues in clear, business-friendly language suitable for regional and HQ leadership.
Requirements
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding or 3PL operations, with demonstrated exposure to process improvement or data analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of air and sea freight operations, including documentation, routing, and carrier coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, data modelling) and experience with reporting tools or dashboards.
- Proven ability to identify operational gaps and implement solutions-not just flag problems.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
