Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand trading activities across Middle Distillates and/or Light Ends markets
- Leverage existing commercial relationships and transferable business opportunities
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships with counterparties, refiners, suppliers and end-users
- Contribute to the growth and structuring of the Singapore trading platform
- Participate in the recruitment and attraction of additional trading talent over time
- Coordinate trading strategy, market positioning and risk management with senior management
- Support the long-term expansion of regional market presence and commercial flows
Profile
- Proven track record within physical oil trading, particularly Middle Distillates and Light Ends
- Existing transferable business and strong regional relationships are highly valued
- Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership potential
- Strong commercial instincts combined with disciplined risk awareness
- Ability to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative trading culture
- Existing team or platform-building capability is a strong advantage
- Experience gained within established trading houses, majors or reputable energy platforms preferred
