Senior Oil & Shipping Operations Specialist

We are partnering with a leading global energy trading company to appoint a Senior Oil & Shipping Operations Specialist in Singapore. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operator with a background in Fuel Oil, Crude Oil, and Shipping Operations to join a fast-paced international trading environment.

The Role

You will take ownership of end-to-end cargo and shipping operations from vessel scheduling and loading/discharge through to final delivery ensuring compliance, efficiency, and smooth execution.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Manage fuel oil and crude oil cargo operations, including vessel operations and shipping logistics.
• Liaise with shipowners, port authorities, inspection agencies, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
• Oversee contracts, shipping documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Drive operational efficiency, resolve issues quickly, and support junior team members.

You will need to have the following experience:

• 7+ years experience in fuel oil and/or crude oil operations; shipping experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of trading logistics, shipping, and regulatory compliance
• Proven track record managing complex cargoes and shipping schedules.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
