Job Description

Job Purpose

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and future-forward HR professional to support and enhance HR operations within a dynamic school environment. This role supports core HR functions across staff lifecycle management, employee experience, compliance, and operational excellence, while contributing to process improvement, strategic workforce initiatives, and AI-enabled HR transformation.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Staff Lifecycle Management

  • Support HR administration across contracts, onboarding, payroll inputs, staff records, and employee lifecycle processes

  • Manage employment documentation, contract renewals, re-employment, and retirement processes in line with policies

2. Claims Administration & Staff Support

  • Administer staff claims accurately and efficiently

  • Serve as a key contact for claims-related queries and liaise with external providers as needed

3. Performance & Workforce Administration

  • Support performance appraisal, staff declarations, flexible work arrangements, and other key HR exercises

  • Coordinate communications, tracking, and follow-ups to ensure smooth execution

4. HR Communications & Employee Experience

  • Maintain HR systems, communication platforms, and staff records

  • Support HR communications, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives

5. Strategic HR Improvement & Future-Readiness

  • Drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and service excellence

  • Support HR digitalisation, AI-enabled enhancements, and evolving workforce practices

  • Contribute to workforce planning, knowledge management, and continuous innovation

Key Requirements

  • Relevant Degree/Diploma in HR or related disciplines

  • At least 3 years of relevant HR experience

  • Experience in education or school environments is advantageous

  • Knowledge of Singapore employment regulations and HR governance

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and innovation
