Job Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate residents functional, cognitive, and physical abilities

• Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to improve independence in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

• Support rehabilitation goals for residents in geriatric and subacute care settings

• Work closely with nurses, physiotherapists, doctors, and the multidisciplinary care team to deliver holistic care

• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment usage

• Document assessments, progress notes, and care plans in accordance with regulatory standards

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development

Requirements

Recognised Degree/Master in Occupational Therapy

Registered with Allied Health Professions Council (APHC)

Min. 1 year experience

Experience with elderly is an added advantage
