Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct comprehensive functional, physical, cognitive, and psychosocial assessments to formulate and deliver evidence-based, individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
Functional Rehabilitation: Perform activities of daily living (ADL) retraining, cognitive rehabilitation, and functional mobility training to help patients regain independence.
Assistive Tech & Environment Modifications: Recommend, fabricate, and fit assistive devices or splints, and conduct home or workplace environmental assessments to recommend safety modifications.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, physiotherapists, and medical social workers to coordinate integrated care and safe discharge plans.
Patient & Caregiver Training: Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, home exercise programs, adaptive equipment usage, and safe handling methods.
Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records of patient assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with professional standards.
Supervision & Mentorship (Senior Role): Guide, mentor, and supervise junior occupational therapists, therapy assistants, and OT students on clinical placements.
Quality & Operational Excellence: Participate in continuous quality improvement projects, clinical audits, research, and departmental administrative tasks assigned by leadership.
Professional Registration: Active registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore, with a valid Practising Certificate.
Education: Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AHPC-recognized institution.
