Position Purpose:
StoneX is one of the fastest growing institutional dealers in the securities industry and a Fortune 100 Company in the US. Our US Fixed Income business is continuing to extend its geographic reach. The US Treasury business is looking for a very high-caliber performer to join our sales effort in the APAC region, currently headquartered in Singapore. This candidate will arrive with sound Fixed Income experience; and they will work closely with local sales and trading partners to provide a best-in-class service globally. The candidate will be instrumental in growing the client business of one of the fastest growing companies in the financial world.
Primary duties will include:
- Drive StoneX's continued fixed income growth in Japan, leading institutional client coverage across U.S. Treasuries and U.S. Agency/MBS products, with additional opportunity to expand engagement in European Government Bonds.
- Leverage an existing network of Japanese institutional relationships including mega-banks, trusts, pensions, insurers, and asset managers to generate meaningful client activity and revenue.
- Employ an entrepreneurial, self-starting approach to continuously identify and develop new client relationships, helping to expand StoneX's emerging Japan fixed-income franchise.
- Maintain an active presence with clients and prospects through regular meetings, calls, and entertainment, representing the firm with professionalism and ensuring StoneX remains top-of-mind as a trusted counterparty.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in New York, London, and Singapore, sharing client intelligence, market color, and cross-border opportunities to enhance global coordination and franchise performance.
- Work closely with business partners to ensure error-free settlement of Japanese client business.
- Cross-sell StoneX's complementary services and products, including custody, clearing, global payments, repo, and other fixed-income offerings, to deepen client relationships and broaden engagement.
- Support team members in daily transactional activity, ensuring seamless execution and a consistently best-in-class client experience.
- Operate with the highest standards of compliance, integrity, and professionalism, maintaining a collegial, performance-oriented work environment.
To land this role you will need:
- Minimum 5 years of direct institutional interest rate sales experience.
- Fluent in Japanese
- MAS or JSDA
- In-depth knowledge of the US Treasury and other rate products, including market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in client relationship building; in part through a robust existing account base.
- Unrelenting drive to grow your own client business, in the context of a team effort.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; as well as demonstrated professionalism, persistence, and attention to detail

- 4 days in office, 1 day remote
