Job Summary
Join Macrogen APAC Pte Ltd as a Senior NGS Sales Manager/Product Specialist to lead sales initiatives, build institutional relationships, and drive market growth for Next-Generation Sequencing services across ASEAN.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in Singapore and the region
- Build and maintain deep, long-lasting institutional client relationships leveraging networks in Biotechnology and Biomedical Science sectors
- Manage the full sales cycle for complex NGS projects, serving as the primary technical contact to communicate sample requirements and resolve technical issues
- Coordinate project execution with Macrogen HQ and laboratory teams to ensure adherence to committed Turnaround Times (TAT)
- Identify and implement operational efficiencies and process improvements within sales and project coordination workflows
- Set and monitor departmental quality and customer-centric objectives to ensure high service standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to marketing and client interactions
Required competencies and certifications
- Bacheler's degree or higher in Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, or a relevant scientific field
- Proven success in sales or business development within the Biotechnology and Biomedical Science industry
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship management skills to build client trust and collaboration
- Knowledge of laboratory operations and specific requirements for NGS/Sequencing projects, including library QC and sample logistics
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience managing government grant applications and understanding their impact on performance outcomes
- At least 1 year of NSG sales management experience
