Responsibilities:
- Lead full deployment lifecycle including staging, testing, and production rollout to ensure stable and secure implementations.
- Implement and manage advanced security features such as intrusion prevention, application control, sandboxing, and threat protection.
- Translate business and technical requirements into detailed solution designs and ensure feasibility of project scope.
- Act as the main escalation point for complex technical issues and provide guidance to the engineering team.
- Prepare and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including design documents, procedures, and user guides.
- Drive troubleshooting efforts and work closely with vendors to resolve critical incidents efficiently.
- Support proof-of-concept (POC) activities to validate solutions and demonstrate technical capabilities to clients.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in network or network security engineering, preferably in a system integration environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise technologies such as next-generation firewalls, core networking, and SD-WAN.
- Solid experience working with vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco, or Check Point.
- Knowledge of integrating security solutions with Active Directory (e.g., LDAP, identity-based access).
- Exposure to security and infrastructure solutions such as PAM, proxy/web gateway, email security, EDR/XDR, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with load balancing, monitoring tools, and wireless technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or Check Point certifications are advantageous.
- Willing to support after-hours work when required.
