Job Summary:
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise and customer network infrastructures. This role provides technical leadership, ensures high availability and security of network systems, and works closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver robust networking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Design & Implementation:
- Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and data centre network infrastructures and Logistics and Manufacturing companies
- Lead network architecture planning for new projects, upgrades, and migrations
- Implement network solutions using Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent technologies
- Configure and support routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and wireless network
Operations & Support:
- Provide Level 3 support for complex network issues and outages
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity planning
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
Security & Compliance:
- Implement and maintain network security controls (firewalls, IPS/IDS, NAC, VPN)
- Support security audits, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Act as technical lead and mentor junior engineers
- Liaise with customers, vendors, and project managers
- Provide technical input for proposals and solution designs
Documentation & Change Management:
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs
- Participate in change and incident management processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, NAT
- Experience with SD-WAN and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Minimum 7-10 years of network engineering experience
- Certifications (Preferred): CCNP / CCIE, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, Aruba certifications
Working Conditions:
