Senior Network Engineer

1. Network Design and Management:

- Design, implement, and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs, to ensure high availability and performance.

- Monitor and maintain network health, ensuring robustness.

2. Cloud and On-Premises Infrastructure:

- Manage and maintain the organization's cloud networking environments (AWS, AliCloud, OCI).

- Ensure secure and efficient integration between cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

- Support hybrid cloud initiatives as required.

3. Network Performance and Monitoring:

- Proactively monitor network performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any network outages or technical incidents in a timely manner.

- Provide regular performance reports and conduct root cause analysis for recurrent issues.

4. Business and Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with internal teams and external service providers to support business growth and network expansion.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver network solutions that meet organizational needs.

5. Project Management:

- Lead network-related projects, including infrastructure upgrades, onboarding new tools, and implementing new technologies.

- Manage timelines, vendor relationships, and budgets for network initiatives.

6. Compliance and Documentation:

- Ensure all systems comply with regulatory and industry standards.

- Document all network-related processes, configurations, and changes.

Job Requirement:

1.Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor or master degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.

2. Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in networking roles

- Experience in managing complex network environments and enterprise infrastructure.

- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, AliCloud or OCI.

- Hands-on experience of managing Palo Alto, Fortinet or Cisco firewalls.

3. Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols (BGP,

OSPF), and network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF).

- Familiarity with enterprise technologies such as VPN, SD-WAN, QoS, and load balancing.

- Knowledge of cloud networking architecture and services.

- Experience with tools for network monitoring and management (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark,

Nagios, Prometheus).

4. Certifications (Preferred):

- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher certification.

- AWS Certification.

- ITIL Certification or other relevant certifications are a plus.

5. Soft Skills:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to network issues.

6. Additional Qualifications:

- Familiarity with compliance requirements in the Singapore or APAC region would be advantageous.

- Has technical lead experience to schedule or arrange the workload for the team.

- Experience with on-premises data centers and disaster recovery is a plus.
