Network Practice (Day 2, P2-P3)
Location: Singapore
We are seeking a Senior/Lead Network Consultant to support and enhance enterprise and data centre network operations. The role involves troubleshooting complex incidents, managing problem resolution, executing infrastructure changes, and contributing to network architecture improvements, including SDN and automation capabilities.
Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, disruptions, and root causes.
Perform problem management, incident analysis, and end-to-end technical ownership.
Implement and review infrastructure configurations, upgrades, and change requests.
Conduct network performance reviews and recommend optimisations.
Troubleshoot using industry tools (e.g., SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow, Wireshark).
Support SDN environments-program basic rules, monitor controllers, and adjust network-wide traffic flows.
Prepare and update SOPs, technical documentation, and user guides.
Support enterprise network technologies, data centre environments, and security components.
Manage technical escalations and guide engineers during critical incidents.
Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
6-10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or consulting.
CCNP (minimum) required.
CCIE preferred.
Enterprise and Data Centre network design & operations.
IPv4/IPv6, routing protocols (BGP), network resiliency, redundancy.
ACLs, dACLs, RADIUS, TACACS, NAC.
TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSH, FTP.
Troubleshooting tools: SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow, Wireshark.
Data Centre (Cisco Nexus / ACI):
Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K, NX-OS, vPC, Anycast Gateway, OTV, VxLAN, ACI fabrics, L2/L3 Out, VMM integration.
Enterprise Networks:
2-tier/3-tier, MPLS VPN, MP-BGP, VRF-lite, wired/wireless design, 802.1X, posturing, profiling.
SD-Access / SD-WAN:
Cisco DNA Center, APIC-EM, automation, VxLAN, QoS.
Security:
NGFW, NGIPS, StealthWatch, AMP, DNS security, network baselines, vulnerability assessment.
Programmability (Good to have):
Ansible, Python, REST API, OpenStack, OpenShift.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and manage escalations.
