Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer is responsible for managing and leading advanced infrastructure and network operations with a focus on incident resolution, problem management, and performance optimization.

The role involves diagnosing technical issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring end-to-end management of complex technical problems.

The consultant develops upgrade plans, proposes infrastructure improvements, and ensures compliance with change management standards. Additional responsibilities include supporting SDN applications, programming network traffic flows, and creating operating procedures for engineering teams.

The consultant provides mentorship to engineers, delivers customer support, and works independently or collaboratively to ensure network operations align with organizational and business requirements.

Requirement:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
• 7-10 years of IT networking experience
• Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 scalable design
• Proficiency in BGP and advanced routing protocols
• Experience with SNMP, Syslog, Netflow, and Wireshark
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SSH
• Knowledge of RADIUS, TACACS, and network access control
• Understanding of multicast protocols including IGMP and PIM
• Expertise in ACL, dACL, and CoPP
• Proficient in Cisco, Alcatel, and Palo Alto networks
• Proficient in ClearPass infrastructure
• Proficient in Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewall management
• Proficient in AWS cloud network
• Good knowledge and understanding of AWS Direct Connect
• Good knowledge on SDWAN and circuit management
• Good understanding of issue analysis and resolution actions
• Able to direct team on various operational issues
• Able to collaborate with cross domain teams for various initiatives
