Senior Network Engineer

Location: Roaming Camp Sites

Job Description

1. Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network solutions (LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN).
2. Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
3. Implement and support firewall security policies and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
4. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure system uptime.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure and security initiatives.
6. Maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and policies.
7. Stay updated with emerging networking and cybersecurity trends.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration.
2. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.).
3. Hands-on experience with firewall technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
4. Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
5. Experience with VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access control mechanisms.
6. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
