Senior Network Engineer

Job Description

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network solutions (LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN).
• Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Implement and support firewall security policies and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure system uptime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure and security initiatives.
• Maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and policies.
• Stay updated with emerging networking and cybersecurity trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with firewall technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Experience with VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access control mechanisms.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
