Review project drawings and specifications to plan mould requirements.
Schedule mould setup, dismantling and maintenance activites to meet production timelines.
Oversee fabrication, modification, and repair of moulds to ensue accuracy and quality.
Conduct regular inspection of mould conditions, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Plan preventive maintenance schedule and supervise corrective actions.
Provide technical guidance during casting operations to ensure proper use of moulds.
Troubleshoot mould-related issued on-site and propose practical solutions.
Ensure moulds are aligned with production efficiency and quality requirements.
Lead and supervise mould technicians/workers in daily tasks.
Plan manpower allocation to meet project deadlines effectively.
Train and mentor junior staff on mould operation, safety practices, and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of mould usage, maintenance, and modification.
Report mould status, issues, and progress updates to management regularly.
Support in audits and ensure compliance with ISO/Company standards.
Identify opportunities to improve mould design, durability, and efficiency.
Work closely with engineering team to implement cost-saving and productivity enhancing measures.
Requirements:
High school/ Diploma /Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or related field and relevant experience in mould fabrication, maintenance, or precast production.
Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in mould fabrication, precast concrete, or related manufacuturing industry.
At least 2 years in a supervisory / team leader role managing mould technicians or production staff.
Strong hands-on knowledge of mould setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting in precast production environment.
Experience in readying technical drawings, specifications, and interpreting tolerances.
Proven track record in planning, scheduling, and meeting tight production deadlines.
