Senior Metallic Structure Inspector - FPSO project experience

As a Senior Inspector - Metallic Structure, you will play a key role in overseeing and ensuring compliance of all structural activities during the integration phase of FPSO construction.

Responsibilities:

. Perform inspection and quality control of metallic structures during the FPSO integration phase.

. Oversee receiving inspections of structural materials to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

. Conduct inspections of fabrication, welding, assembly, and installation activities.

. Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, including AWS D1.1, ABS Rules, and other applicable structural requirements.

. Provide technical expertise and support in resolving structural inspection issues.

. Prepare and maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation.

. Liaise with engineering, construction, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution of structural activities.

. Support audits, reviews, and verification of contractors quality performance.

Requirements

. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in structural inspection within the oil & gas industry.

. Proven experience in FPSO construction projects, particularly during the integration phase.

. Strong knowledge of structural standards and codes (e.g., AWS D1.1, ABS Rules, and others relevant to FPSO construction).

. Familiarity with metallic structure inspection processes including material receiving, welding inspections, and assembly verification.

. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and industry standards.

. Strong communication and reporting skills.

. Certification in CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2, AWS-CWI, or equivalent is highly desirable.

. Open to working at Tuas Boulevard Yard

. 5 days with a total of 44 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 730am-530pm and Friday 730am-430pm with one hour lunch break
