You will be involved in the commercial and cost management of MEP works across construction projects, working closely with consultants, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and review of MEP cost plans, estimates and tender documentation.
- Carry out quantity take-offs, measurements and pricing for MEP works.
- Assist with the evaluation of progress payments and variation claims.
- Review MEP Bills of Quantities and supporting commercial documentation.
- Support tendering activities, contract administration and commercial reporting.
- Coordinate with project consultants, contractors and suppliers on pricing and cost matters.
- Maintain accurate records of measurements, quotations, claims and project documentation.
- Work with senior team members on cost management and commercial aspects of projects.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members where required.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant M&E or Quantity Surveying experience for the MEP QS position.
- For Senior MEP QS, preferably 6 years or more of relevant experience.
- Candidates with both Mechanical and Electrical exposure will have an advantage.
- Experience in MEP cost management, measurement, claims or quantity surveying is preferred.
- Familiarity with BOQ, variation claims, progress claims and tender documentation.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with quantity take-off or cost management software is advantageous.
- Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
