Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist

Job Description:

• Perform and supervise medical laboratory tests across various disciplines in laboratory medicine.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting of test results.
• Oversee daily laboratory operations, including workflow management, troubleshooting, and staff guidance.
• Maintain and enforce compliance with quality control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Ensure optimal functioning, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support clinical decision-making.
• Contribute to the training and development of junior laboratory staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field advanced degree is an advantage.
• Relevant professional certifications and licenses required for medical laboratory practice in Singapore.
• Proven experience in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.
• Proficient in Medical Technology, laboratory skills, and Quality Control practices.
