Provide technical design and engineering services in mechanical engineering for all assigned engineering projects, achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE
Conduct mechanical engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to engineering studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning
Ensure that the required technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental, and safety policies are incorporated and followed in work scopes and while conducting mechanical engineering activities
Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards, and practices
Support the engineering department in reviewing, updating, and implementing the standards and procedures on behalf of the client.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Chartered engineer/professional engineer status or equivalent is preferable
10 years relevant post-graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the oil & gas industry in both static and piping disciplines
Expert level competency is required at least in one of the discipline areas (i.e. static or piping)
Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards, international codes, and company standards related to mechanical engineering
Proven ability to effectively manage time, cost, and quality in either greenfield or brownfield engineering major projects, as well as in multiple project environments for the discipline of engineering. Having experience in concept development, front-end engineering design (FEED), EPIC, and technical support for site/plant operation
Good communication and presentation skills with fluency in English
