Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Singapore. You will lead the design and development of high-performance downhole tools, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of well construction and completion. This role requires a blend of technical mastery in 3D modeling and a deep understanding of Completion Tool systems (CWI/Enterprise).
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development: Design and develop innovative downhole tools tailored for complex Oil & Gas applications.
- Engineering Analysis: Perform precise engineering calculations and analytical modeling using Mathcad.
- Design & Modeling: Create and manage complex 3D CAD models and assemblies using SolidWorks (or similar software).
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with well construction principles and PSL standards.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, specifications, and documentation using MS Office.
- Global Collaboration: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones to deliver projects on schedule.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant industry experience, specifically in Downhole/Completion Tools.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and Mathcad.
- Deep knowledge of Well Construction and Completion Design.
- Hands-on experience with CWI and Enterprise platforms.
- Niche Knowledge: Familiarity with sub-PSLs within Completion Tools is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
