Senior Mechanical Engineer (Design / Semiconductor Equipment / CAD Modeling)

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop series of inspection systems/laser marking/sorting machine/customized semiconductor equipment to meet the processing and automation needs of customers.
• Design standardization based on customers specs, including the module conceptualization design.
• Handling the cost and performing project management.
• Familiar with Design for manufacturing (DFM), Design for assembly (DFA), and Concurrent engineering.
• Responsible for the s election and sizing of standard components available off the shelf.
• Able to read detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and layout drawings
• Undertake new product development or be involved in sustaining engineering/CIPs/cost reduction projects.

• Bachelor/ Master's in mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering with minimum of 5 years in the similar capacity.
• Proficient with 3D solid Modeling, preferably Pro-E (others like Solid Edge, Auto Inventor, Mechanical Desktop, Solid Designer are also acceptable).
• Possess a good track record with Ultra High Precision machine design and High-Speed Pick and Place mechanism design.
• Strong project management skills and engineering material selection.
• Able to use Engineering Tools for s tructural, kinematics and dynamic analysis, FEA simulation, Geometrical tolerance, and dimensional analysis.
• Application of analysis tools like FMEA, DOE, etc.
