Senior Mechanical Engineer (CNC & Precision Machining)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience to lead our precision manufacturing operations. This role is designed for a technical expert who excels in Autodesk Fusion 360 for CAM programming and possesses a deep mastery of manual G-Code optimization. You will be responsible for ensuring that all components produced via CNC Milling, Turning, and Surface Grinding meet exacting tolerance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced CNC Operations: Program, set up, and operate CNC Milling and CNC Turning centers for complex part geometries.
• Precision Surface Grinding: Perform high-accuracy grinding to achieve micron-level tolerances and superior surface finishes.
• Process Optimization: Manually adjust G-Code and machine offsets to maintain accuracy, compensate for tool wear, and reduce cycle times.
• Automation & Robotics: Manage the setup, programming, and maintenance of Pick and Place machines for integrated production.
• Metrology & Quality: Conduct rigorous inspections using precision instruments to verify that all workpieces adhere to specified tolerances.
• Logistics: Maintain a valid Driving Licence for occasional technical coordination, vendor visits, or material transport.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related manufacturing field.
• Experience: 8–10 years of proven experience in high-precision machining environments.
• Primary Software: Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion 360 is essential for this role.
• G-Code Fluency: Proficient in G-Code and M-Code. You must be able to read, write, and manually edit code at the machine controller to optimize toolpaths and troubleshoot setups.
• Tolerance Mastery: Expert understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). You must be able to interpret complex blueprints and ensure all parts meet strict linear, form, and orientation tolerances.
