Right Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator to join our team. As a Senior Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects in Singapore. This full-time position will involve coordinating and overseeing the mechanical and electrical aspects of our projects, working closely with our construction crews and subcontractors.
Job Summary
The Senior M&E Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all Mechanical & Electrical(M&E) works to ensure smooth integration with architectural and structural works. The role focuses on coordination, clash resolution, scheduling, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and statutory requirements to achieve timely and quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. M&E Coordination & Interface Management
- Coordinate all M&E trades (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection, ELV) with architectural and structural works.
- Identify and resolve design clashes and site coordination issues before and during installation.
- Ensure M&E works are properly integrated with finishes, ceilings, shafts, risers, and plant rooms.
2.Drawings & Technical Review
- Review and coordinate M&E shop drawings, combined services drawings, and builder's work drawings.
- Ensure alignment between M&E, architectural, and structural drawings.
- Assist in preparation and review of BIM coordination drawings (if applicable).
3. Site Coordination & Supervision
- Coordinate site works with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Monitor installation sequence to avoid rework and delays.
- Conduct regular site walks to check M&E progress and interfaces.
4.Programme & Progress Control
- Coordinate M&E work schedules in line with overall project programme.
- Track progress and highlight potential delays or coordination risks.
- Assist in planning manpower and material delivery for M&E works.
5.Quality & Compliance
- Ensure M&E works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and QA/QC requirements.
- Coordinate inspections and testing requirements with consultants and authorities.
- Support QA/QC team in addressing non-conformities and corrective actions.
6.Authority & Consultant Liaison
- Coordinate inspections and submissions with consultants, BCA, SCDF, SP Group, and other authorities.
- Ensure timely clearance of comments and compliance with statutory requirements.
7.Testing, Commissioning & Handover Support
- Coordinate testing and commissioning (T&C) activities among various M&E trades.
- Ensure readiness for TOP / CSC inspections.
- Assist in preparation of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.
Requirements& Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems and building construction sequence.
- Familiar with Singapore codes, standards, and authority requirements.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
