Mission:
Clean, inspect repair and test large diameter (18 inches and above) AP HT&P and Pipeline Services equipment for damage or wear before delivery to job site. Assists in preparation of such equipment. Provide technical mentorship and training to Service Center mechanic within FEAP region.
HT&P Pipeline services equipment maintenance (45%)
Cleans, inspects, repairs and tests Services equipment in compliance with established quality assurance procedures to detect damage or wear, ensuring that worn or damaged parts are repaired or replaced according to specifications,
Maintains GSRS maintenance records of Services equipments, ensuring records are current and complete,
Orders necessary spare parts and maintains the stock,
Ensures service centers operate maintenance procedures in upmost compliance with TDW standards (40%)
Make sure that all maintenance and repair of equipments services are performed within the highest TDW and ISO standards expectations; recommends improvements or corrective actions to help bridge potential gaps;
Performs regular technical audits of local workshops
Provides guidance and assistance to local mechanic staff on methods or procedures, including implementation of 5S across the region
Mentors junior mechanics/technicians in the maintenance activities and helps them developing adequate processes and technical expertise
Singapore Workshop organization (10%)
Ensures the workshop is operated according to 5S,
Performs special upgrades of operational equipment,
Ensures the Services equipments are available on time and finds any other option if necessary;
Ensures the coordination with subcontractors for the manufacturing and amendment of specific Service equipment,
Performs work in conformity with the control/insurance quality;
Equipment storage & shipping (5%)
Stores equipment, tests equipment and tools, ensuring availability of equipment as required,
When required, performs all shipping and receiving functions, including job setup, proper packaging of services equipment according to transportation mode, loading equipment for shipment and scheduling ship dates, prepares all shipping documentation and tool repair documentation.
Knowledge, skills & abilities required
Diploma in mechanics or equivalent, combined with a min of 5 years of experience in a similar job,
Few years experience with repair and maintenance of TDW Services equipment is an asset
Working knowledge of hydraulic equipment, such as pumps, motors, control valves, etc.,
Able to read blueprints,
Team spirit, ability to work autonomously and sense of urgency,
Good communication & organization skills,
Basic knowledge in Windows (Word, Excel, Access),
Experience in heavy lifting and rigging. Able to operate overhead crane
Willing to travel frequently
