Our client is one of the leading players in the Semiconductor sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Senior Materials Planner to be part of their Planning team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East - easily accessible.
Responsibilities of Senior Materials Planner:
- Plan and manage material requirements based on customer orders, forecasts, and production schedules.
- Run MRP to ensure timely material availability for production.
- Work closely with purchasing to monitor CTB and reschedule materials to optimize revenue and control inventory.
- Collaborate with sales, production, planners, buyers, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
- Support demand, supply, and planning review meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Manage material planning during engineering changes (ECO/ECN) and new product introductions (NPI).
- Monitor inventory levels and implement actions to control excess or obsolete stock.
- Identify planning gaps and recommend process improvements.
- Support enhancements in planning processes, including S&OP, MRP optimization, ERP usage, and digitalization initiatives.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in engineering field
- Min 5 years of material planning experience in manufacturing industry
