Senior Market Data Business Analyst

A leading financial services organisation is looking for a Senior Market Data Business Analyst to support front-office market data platforms and integration initiatives.
The role requires a strong combination of financial markets product knowledge, business analysis capability and technical market data expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and translate front-office market data requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
- Analyse existing market data workflows, architecture and integrations
- Work closely with front-office users, technology teams and market data vendors
- Support the design and implementation of market data solutions across multiple asset classes
- Analyse data flows, downstream dependencies and corporate action processes
- Drive requirements through design, development, testing and implementation
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Market Data Business Analyst within financial markets
- Very strong hands-on knowledge of Bloomberg B-PIPE
- Experience with Bloomberg integration technologies including B-PIPE, BDL and SAPI is highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of market data feeds, distribution and integration architecture
- Broad financial markets knowledge across Equities, Fixed Income and FX
- Strong understanding of equities corporate actions and associated workflows
- Ability to demonstrate genuine systems and solution depth rather than purely functional BA experience
- Strong experience working directly with front-office stakeholders and engineering teams
Candidates who combine deep Bloomberg market data expertise with strong product knowledge and the ability to understand market data architecture end-to-end will be particularly well suited.
