Job Description

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be involved in the design of infrastructure works-primarily marine-related structures. Our company undertakes both large and small projects locally and worldwide. Creative thinking, teamwork with colleagues, and close collaboration with clients are highly valued. Our designs are carried out in accordance with industry standards and within agreed boundaries of quality, schedule, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

. Design and analysis of marine structures (reinforced concrete, steel design, ship-shore interface design, and geotechnical-related considerations).

. Present and discuss design solutions with the project manager, providing sound technical advice.

. Mentor and coach less experienced engineers within the project team.

. Support BIM modellers to ensure drawings and models are aligned with design intent and specifications.

. Handle and prepare Singapore authority submissions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.

. Perform and review detailed engineering works for structural and marine infrastructure projects.

What We Are Looking For:

. A degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Structural Engineering and affinity for coastal and geotechnical engineering.

. Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience.

. Strong knowledge of project management principles and applicable industry codes and standards.

. Familiarity and hands-on experience with Singapore authority submissions (e.g., BCA, JTC, MPA, PUB, SCDF, etc.).

. Proactive, communicative, and decisive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

. Applicants with fewer than 8 years of experience will also be considered, especially if they demonstrate strong skills and potential.
