The Senior Marine Supervisor (Piping / Thermal Insulation) is responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering, technical, and supervisory aspects of piping and thermal insulation works across assigned projects. This role ensures that all activities are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
Execute, review, and revise project work plans to accommodate changing project needs and requirements
Liaise with clients and management teams in preparation for site work and scheduling
Keep the Project Manager informed of project status, progress, risks, and constraints
Coordinate communication between engineering, production, and other relevant departments
Study and understand project design basis, including scope of work, project schedules, client specifications, standards, and drawings
Liaise with design specialists on drawings, amendments, and re-submissions to clients
Assist in site measurements, inspections, and technical assessments
Prepare piping and thermal insulation specifications, including applicable standards and drawings
Prepare piping and thermal insulation information lists, layouts, and document lists in accordance with project procedures
Supervise site and production works to ensure timely completion and compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards
Assist in preparing fabrication schedules, manpower requirements, manhour distribution, and execution plans based on approved budgets and schedules
Ensure project operations follow established production specifications and quality standards
Prepare, review, and submit project documentation, reports, and records
Attend site and office meetings and prepare progress reports as required
Supervise production workers, including task allocation and performance monitoring
Ensure workforce training, discipline, attendance, safety compliance, and quality control
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all HSE requirements
Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Manager from time to time
Proven experience in piping and thermal insulation works within marine or industrial projects
Strong knowledge of fabrication, installation, and inspection processes
Leadership, coordination, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under schedule pressure
Forklift license required
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Sunday & Public Holidays: Overtime work is compulsory as required by project needs
