Senior Manufacturing Supervisor

The Senior Manufacturing Supervisor directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations and at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a production team/line to meet both production plan and process quality specifications with maximum efficiency
• Manage point-of-use production materials
• Manage training and skill certification of technicians
  
  

Accountabilities

• Execute cross department coordination to maximize on-time-delivery to customer
• Plan and implement lean manufacturing activities for productivity improvement
• Plan and implement process improvement activities to maximize in-process quality and Rolled Throughput Yield (RTY)
• Plan and implement on-the-job-training for all level of technicians to achieve desired manufacturing flexibility
• Plan and execute cycle count on point-of-use materials and VMI material control to maintain a healthy level of accurate material inventory
• Plan and implement 5S/CI improvement activities for areas of responsibility and 5S committee activities
• Plan and implement safety and HIRA activities for site WSH system improvement
• Maintain good line discipline and minimize production loss
• Perform other projects or tasks assigned by the management
