Role Overview
You will define and scale DHL's global White Glove capability for Data Center Logistics - creating the technical standards, methods, and tools that ensure safe, precise, and consistent handling of high value IT hardware inside data centers.
This role bridges onsite technical execution (rack/stack, cabling, migrations, chain of custody) with a strong understanding of the end to end supply chain that moves equipment from transport warehouse staging installation.
What You'll Own:
- Build global White Glove methods (rack/stack, cabling, migrations, ESD, handling protocols).
- Create SOPs/MOPs, checklists, quality controls, and risk standards.
- Design the White Glove technician ce rtification program (skills, training, assessment).
- Standardize vendor execution and define service quality requirements across regions.
- Ensure White Glove methods align with upstream logistics flows (inbound delivery, staging, RMA, reverse logistics).
- Support major customer pursuits with technical SME input.
- Drive process improvement, audit routines, and global consistency across BUs.
- Partner with Ops, Product, IT, Safety, and Regions to deploy standards globally.
What You Bring:
- Experience in data center technical operations (rack/stack, cabling, onsite installs, migrations).
- Understanding of logistics touchpoints (delivery scheduling, inbound checks, staging, chain of custody).
- Proven ability to create SOPs/MOPs/technical standards.
- Strong vendor management or oversight experience.
- Ability to train technicians and uplift field capability.
- Safety, ESD, and mission critical handling discipline.
- Experience in hyperscalers or colocation environments is highly preferred.
