As the Senior Manager Test Cell Equipment Engineering, you will be responsible to setup & drive effective indicators such as OEE, UDT, MTBA, MTBF, FPY, PM Fulfillment, etc.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Overall responsibility for New Test system & test hardware qualification, product qualification & production readiness
- Promote and enable the team to perform data analysis using appropriate statistical tools to analyse & understand trends, deviations and take actions to rectify and re-validate.
- Lead and interface with Product Engineering, Test Development, Test Technology & Innovation, Planning, Quality and Business units to improve and resolve production technical issues.
- Implement control plans such as APC & Out of Control action plans to monitor and manage deviations.
- Drive preventive maintenance (PM) systematic & compliance to perform regular PM, troubleshooting and repair of equipment to ensure to ensure safety, high availability & reliability
- Analyze parts usage & life span to ensure optimum machine performance& drive cost effective PM program by managing OS and PM cost within budget
- Drive continuous improvement projects to contribute to the overall Segment performance in productivity (NLoP) and Quality (NLoZD)
- Management Contact to Vendor to drive improvement topics & issue resolutions
- Strategize & Plan machine overhaul & reconditioning based on need and usage
- Develop equipment specifications to BM next generation or 2nd source equipment/tools
- Develop equipment and tools work instruction & manage training for operators, technician and engineers as required
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Master's / Bachelor's Degree in Semiconductor Technology /Microelectronics / Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronic Engineering with minimum 10 years of Backend Test relevant working experience.
- Extensive knowledge of final test processes and Semiconductor Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) & Test Handling Equipment maintenance procedure.
- Extensive knowledge of the techniques and methods of analysis &improving test cell performance.
- Strong project leaders as well as excellent team player with sound presentation skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and a multi-cultural environment
- Strong communication and negotiating skills to manage global and multicultural management team and stakeholders successfully.
