Senior Manager, Strategy

Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to distil complexity into clarity. The ideal candidate is adept at synthesising disparate facts, market insights, operational realities and stakeholder perspectives into coherent, compelling narratives that influence decision-making and drive business outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team to develop opportunities for growth, implement strategic initiatives, and drive operational excellence across the organisation. Success in this role requires strong intellectual curiosity, high emotional intelligence, exceptional business acumen, the ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining focus on organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and facilitate the design and implementation of the company's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives
• Partner with multiple business heads and key stakeholders to execute cross-functional, complex projects while ensuring optimal coordination and stakeholder alignment
• Translate quantitative and qualitative analyses into compelling evidence-based stories that articulate the rationale behind business priorities, secure stakeholder alignment and influence strategic direction
• Develop business cases, metrics and financial models to evaluate and track the implementation and success of strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with C-suite and senior leaders to identify and prioritise strategic initiatives, best practices and strategic development opportunities that drive long-term value creation and business growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or related field
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proven ability to structure recommendations and influence decision-making through clear, evidence-based arguments and strategic framing
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with excellent project management ability
• Possess strong business acumen and the ability to identify broader implications behind facts and figures
• Strong executive presence and maturity, with ability to effectively manage complex stakeholder dynamics, influence without authority and navigate competing priorities to drive alignment and outcomes
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, fluid and dynamic environment
• Prior experience (or an excellent grasp of) both public and private sectors is advantageous.
