Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning and Corporate Administration

The Strategy & Planning and Corporate Administration Department plays an important role in strengthening organisational alignment and institutional foundations across Arts House Group (AHG). The department works closely with senior leadership and departments to drive strategic planning, manage key government and stakeholder engagements, and support strong governance practices.

From shaping long-term organisational strategies to supporting Board governance and coordinating cross-organisation initiatives, the department ensures that AHG's plans operations remain aligned with the organisation's mission and national cultural priorities.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with the Head, Strategy & Planning and Corporate Administration to drive organisation-wide strategic planning initiatives, working closely with senior leadership and departments across AHG.

1. Strategy & Organisational Planning

  • Coordinate organisation-wide strategic planning and annual work planning exercises.
  • Support the development of AHG's long-term strategic plans and frameworks.
  • Conduct research and analyse audience data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Manage institutional reporting and engagements with the National Arts Council, including funding requirements and periodic reports.
  • Maintain and enhance organisational KPI dashboards and performance tracking processes.

2. Board Secretariat & Governance

  • Support the organisation and administration of Board meetings and engagements.
  • Maintain Board records, declarations and governance documentation in line with charity governance requirements.
  • Assist with Board renewal, onboarding and evaluation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and charity governance reporting requirements.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to support AHG's strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate internal platforms such as staff engagement sessions to communicate organisational strategies and initiatives.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of AHG's Annual Report and other stakeholder communications.

4. Corporate Administration & Organisational Support

  • Provide secretariat support for management meetings and internal coordination platforms.
  • Oversee corporate office administration, including procurement, resource management and workplace initiatives.
  • Implement process improvements and sustainability initiatives aligned with government sustainability practices.
  • Support initiatives that foster collaboration, innovation and a conducive workplace environment across AHG.

5. Other Strategic Projects & Institutional Initiatives

  • Drive planning and coordination of major organisational milestones and special projects.
  • Contribute to organisation-wide initiatives that strengthen AHG's institutional positioning.

Requirements

  • Degree in social sciences, arts management, public policy or a related discipline.
  • At least 58 years of relevant experience in planning, governance or corporate management roles.
  • Strong analytical, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills; adaptable, resourceful and able to coordinate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Research and data analysis skills, including familiarity with data visualisation tools, will be an advantage.
  • Experience in the arts, public or non-profit sector would be a plus.
